Meet our Board of Directors

You May Ask Who Are These People?

The Villas Board of Directors, as well as the Committees are made up of dedicated volunteers who reside at the Villas @ Belmont Bay. They are your neighbors who volunteer their time to make things better. The Board at Directors are also the elected officials governing our community, balancing our budget and overseeing many of the ongoing projects.

President - Ruth K.

I  am currently serving my second year on the board.  My husband, Carl, and I moved here from Maryland in 2016 to be nearer to our children and grandchildren.  Before retiring I was office manager for a sales office that distributed small electric motors throughout the United States.

Being an avid gardener for most of my life, I have volunteered and been involved in the Landscaping committee here at Belmont Bay.  I am also very active in my church, serving on the Finance and Social Ministry Boards.  In addition to these two activities I enjoy my time with a group of church women who make quilts that are distributed to a local hospital NICU ward.

Treasurer - Gene V.

My name is Gene and my wife and I have recently moved into our new home here in beautiful Belmont Bay.

I’m a semi-retired Foreign Service Officer with the US Agency for International Development, USAID, where I’ve served as a Financial Officer in USAID Missions in Kenya, Sudan, Georgia, Ukraine, Iraq, Jordan and most recently for several months in Tanzania. For those of you who’ve ever wondered were Zanzibar is located like me, it’s an island that is now part of the Tanzania.

Prior to that I spent most of my career working in Banking, high tech on the west coast and actually had my own CPA firm for a number of years.

And now I’m proud to volunteer my help with our UOA both on the Architecture Review Committee where I understand there are some changes that many owners would like to make to the current charter.

Communications - Steve R.

In 2018 My Fiancé, myself and our lovely dog became unit owners and residents of the Belmont Bay Golf Villas. As we Transitioned to The Villas at Belmont Bay we decided to get more involved in the community. With 20+ years experience in multi unit retail management I joined the communications committee to stream line the multiple streams of communication into one clear multi channel source for the residents of The Villas at Belmont Bay.
